Deep Blue Website Design

Hi everyone,

I was hoping you could all check out Deep Blue Design and let me know what you think.

I'm worried the design is too "bland."

Thanks for any input.

Alexander

It does the job, its well placed, firts well on my resolution. And the colours are deep blue so it all ties in, however.. i don't like the font on the Deep Blue logo.

Hmm, looks nice. I'm not a big fan of the font you used though, kind of hard to make out the words, expecialy for your logo.

I think the flash is far too poor to be placing on your first screen. As far as impact goes it puts me off instantly.
Agree with the others about the font too.

Id have a rethink and go down the html route. like the other guy said if its not outstanding it just looks wrong to me.

Overall a decent start.
Carl.

Agree with the flash comments. Also - in FireFox the website changes positioning because everything is centered. For fast client browsing you generally want the links and headers to stay in the same place so that people can jump quickly.

Also - a sidenote, just on the content of your site it says that your clients don't have to pay until they are happy with the design . . . a little recommendation about that from someone who has been in the industry for a while - contracts + deposits = happy designers
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/119514-deep-blue-website-design.html

You are a professional and that is what is generally standard for a full blown project that will take you at least a month.

you can really tell the flash animation was created using swish, if you want to do a flash temp i would recommend doing a couple flash tutorials on it at flashkit.com because swish animation sucks.
