New guy - looking for review and help with site

www.moddedmustangs.com

Im working on changing the site to match the forums, but thats not my problem. I built the site using tables in Dreamweaver, but I cannot figure out how to get the site to fit the browser horizontally!

The table its in is set for 100%, changing this to anything else didn't help. I just don't want to deal with a scrollbar at the bottom, especially when the forums don't have that issue.

Thanks in advance for anyone's help. Nice place you got here btw.

First off did you code it yourself? You said Dreamweaver which lead me to believe that you were doing this all visually with WYSIWYG...

you see, with WYSIWYG you get it putting in values as 900px and stuff. You have only set the outer table as 100%. The inner values are "forcing" the outer one to enlarge.

Hey,

A little too dark for my taste but I like what you have done with the header - really nice image. I would work on the rest there is still much room for improvement.

Thanks for the reviews guys, I fixed the issue with the screen widening. I reduced the size of the main header pic and set its width to 100%. Now, I can't get the scrollbars to match the color of the forums. I'm not using CSS but I tried the css code for the scrollbars and it wouldn't work.

make the tables 0borders so they are not so obvious or at least make sure the banner isn't in one, better than most first tries tho.

Don't like it, too dark.
I think the banner shouldn't be able to strech as it is pixleated in larger screens.
