Feedback on forums site

Site still needs a custom logo for the top and a reworked header, preferrably. If you're willing to help out with that let me know.

Otherwise, what do you think of the forums? They used to be the HSGamers forums.

Looks like every other forum site using that template.

If you want your name to stick out there, you need to come up with a custom design and not use a template.

Yeah, but when good custom designs cost over 200 to design, code, and implement, that can be quite unreasonable until the forums is actually generating some kind of profit. Also, I have not seen any (meaning they are probably some, but not many) forums using that template

It looks very slick and professional, which is pretty much irrelevant since you did not create the layout. I agree that paying for a layout is pretty dumb, but it's really not all that hard to make your own or modify other templates. Don't get me wrong this isn't a flame but the section description reads "Showcase your designs and request reviews and feedback" and this is not your design.

Well yes but that still doesn't make this the right forum to post in. But I did revisit the site and noticed it refreshes itself every few seconds (not sure if its my side or not, doesn't do it for any other sites I visit) which could be killer to your bandwidth.

I dont see a point in a shoutbox on a forum. A chat room on the other hand would be better if your forum is big enough. Design looks nice. 300 members. Looks like you have a nice forum going
