Website layout

This is a layout i recently made, not really intending on using it for anything yet, which is why I have yet to put a title on the website and why the links don't function yet, anyone have any comments on this design:

Looks funky!

Maybe center it, and also I would put a footer at the bottom, like the copyright and stuff.

AIDS/HIV
I like it except I wouldn't make the links like that. I would make the header normal with that drop down over image on the right. I would then make the links normal across the bottom of the banner. I would also make the content match up with the banner.

Hope This Helps,

Thanks for the comments, I was thinking about making the banner normal, then it'd be easier for me to have rollovers on the links.

You've made the layout in photoshop, sliced it and let imageready handle the code. This is how I used to make sites a few years back until I realised it was a bad idea.

It loads quite slow and that's because it uses tables and is very image heavy. I like the aesthetics of the site. But it would be better off using divs/css as opposed to tables. But it has great potential.

and one suggestion from me, can we make it to centre ? for some people who use a bigger resolution (1024x768) there's a big white space at the right side.

Regards

The white text is a little too hard to read on the content area's background, IMHO.

All the best,

Links are no good. And where is your effort on the site ?

All i know is that you edited the text and put this there :

Code:
This site is a sample of the work done by Schmay Graphics, we can make
websites like this one for really cheap prices. If you are interested in getting
a design made then get in contact at either:
Would rate it 1/10 - for no effort done at all instead of just using someone elses work.

What the hell are you on about? I didn't say I was going to use the design for anything and it's just the first draft of the site. And it is all my work, why would I bother editing someone else's site, that would be pointless and what would I get out of that? There was quite a bit of effort done in actually making the design.

Anyway, thanks for the comments.
