Looks nice but when I see it the idea of a news site sticks in my head rather than what it is. I do like it though.

That's what I meant. It's wierd and it micht be just me so dont get me wrong. I do like the design. I just see it and expect to be reading news on servers.

I have to say, it is a nice design.

However, there is something which just hit me, and enlightened me.
Designs like that are nice, they are percieved as nice and they are always nice.
Thats right, the keyword is nice!

However, to get clients, its got to be different, stunning and oustanding. How about trying something different, something more adventerous, so its not just nice but ****ing amazing!

That is in no way a put down of your site, but rather a crazy thought which just hit me. That goes for all nice sites which are similar but still nice.

A site in such a competetive insdustry needs to be oustanding, it needs to have that extra bit of ummppphh.

I am glad that you did not take my comments the wrong way.

I would suggest taking a look at some websites created by people such as 2advanced.com etc (there are many). I am not saying that you should use flash, but just take some ideas.

I would suggest using more striking colours, the site has fairly plain colours atm. Maybe getting a flash expert to make some good looking flash, which still loads quickly.
People need to come to the site and think "WOW!".
I would be 20x more likely to buy from a site which made me think like that. "If the site looks good, the product must be good" <== Thats how most clients will think.

thanks for all the comments. They are all constructive.

As for flash, that will require some thought. Personally, I don't really like flash but I do see that it sometimes creates that "Wow" effect.
