| NamePros Member | Quick little Portfolio I made The images are meant for low opacity so when you roll over them they fade in. It's not implemented yet though. I feel it looks cluttered with the banner at the bottom but without it I thought it looked open. Version1 Version2 (Different bg color) Last edited by Rayzn; 07-24-2005 at 05:55 PM. |

| Senior Member | well.. if you wanna use that bg, id suggest using brighter colours aroun the rest of the site. Id suggest orange. But do it up in ur css, not the actuall bg. Just add some life to the site. Or if you want to stick with the grey coloursw then take a look at a friend of mines portfolio. www.socerpulse.com/portfolio different shades of a greish blue type colour are used to give teh feel of strength. IMO. Here is another friend of mines portfolio http://www.godice.com/ he uses the same kind of grey look, but with lots of colours in the content and the logo. My portfolio is down at the moment, but whenever i get it up again,. ill show you mine too, just to give another example of some other ideas for portfolios.

| Account Suspended | It looks pretty good except for one thing I think stands out. That bright red and blue swirl for the logo, a good logo, does not work well with this site. I think it is a marvelous logo but it is just not fitting. Maybe if you were to stick with greys, whites, greens, and blacks. |

| NamePros Member | the logo stands out a bit buch, and it seems a bit plain, but that my be because of lack of content, good job though Inf

| NamePros Regular | hey, First off all why is you're website name and logo seperated. I don't really think the chosen font matches a portfolio. If you wish to have a professional looking portfolio, you should use normal fonts (verdana , arial , tahoma, ... ) the gamers asylum , is that a banner add or what? there's not really much to see. good luck with you're website |

| Soon to be RICHdoggie! | 1. the font is all wrong! lol Hate it... use something standard like arial or tahoma. 2. you have no real layout, its a bit too open 3. its maybe a tad too simple. You need to implement some change in texture, some borders or photoshop filters maybe Good Luck anyhow! |

| NamePros Member | I understand perfectly that the font doesn't fit it and I even made a post in another section of this forum about where to find professional looking fonts. I go to websites like www.dafont.com and I see either crappy fonts, or just trendy fonts that are meant for signatures. |
