I scratched the old design and came up with another one. Please tell me what you think. I appologise but you will have to use Firefox because as usual IE butchers things, I havn't got cross browser compatability yet.

It's simple and I like it but maybe it's a bit to simple? Also there's a big gap between banner and content which i will have to sort out. I was thinking of adding a side bar which would reduce the large content area. Any other suggestions welcome.

The kiwi has the shadow so that you can see on the left where the image starts. Make it all white to the left of the kiwis.

you can also flip the image horizontally and allign it to the right side of the header.

That's how the original image was. The shadow ended there, it's not cut off.

How can one do web-design if they don't know how to erase a little part of an image?

I'd say change the font to a sans-serif font. Then you're on your way.

What are you going on about? I am fully capable of erasing a little part of an image but I don't want to. That's how the original image was and that's how it's staying. I actually prefer it with the little bit of shadow.

I think this layout is awesome. Some things I would suggest would be first, the green text that Spark is in should be changed. I know it is the signature but it is really quite hard to read. The only other thing I would suggest is that you should make the bottom three things, bottom right, have a css style attached so they aren't the normal blue link. The site is awesome except those two things.

I was thinking whether or not spark was hard to read, I guess it is. Also I was going to take off the text decoration from the hyperlinks in the footer but never got around to it.

I like the design, it's nice and simple. I agree that the Spark is too hard to see, maybe make it a darker green or even try bolding it. Also, the area to the right of the navigation; why don't you just start your text there? put your introduction paragraph there to eat up the whitespace. Move that green bar/ Introduction title to the top left right up by where it says builders. I think that would finish the site off.

Very simple but still nice, It might just be me but is that slighly off center.

Yeah it is a little off centre at that res. No offence at this but why would you want to use that res in the first place? It skews everything and makes the text hard to read.

Nice job with the design, it looks very simple and easy to navigate. Instead of using Times New Roman, try using a professional font like Tahoma, Verdana, or Arial. Good luck with your new website!
