This forum is currently in the development phase... do you think I'm at a good starting point (covered all the bases) or am I missing something important?

Any input you can offer will be appreciated.

It's just a standard phpbb forum. Did you skin it yourself? If so then it's ok so far. A bit bland imho.

First off, great idea.

Secondly, something so great of an idea definately requires a custom skin. Although the skin you chose is very nice, I would like to see you use a custom skin instead/buy one.

I think you're starting out with a little too many forums. It would be hard for posters to fill that much space up.

I think it would look better if you take the google ads of the top, maybe turn them into a side navigation bar.
