hey plz help me if you can


first of all i just wanna say hi.

ok im new to this site and im also new to web design, i know some basic html, not by heart but most of the time im ok at editing codes in html and sometimes javascript. ok i made a super super super super simple layout i mean so simple that its not even funny, but i wanna slice it and i slice it and all, but then when i try to put text on it with frontpage its like it all messes up, can anyone help me or better yet slice it real fast or showed me what i did wrong, the template is here www.artkd.com/site.zip plz help me out. thanksss and its not that im lazy ive honest spent this whole day reading tutorials but none really cover the adding content part of slicing plz help, thanks.

Don't slice.

Start by making a table and make it the same size as your design. Then add the columns and rows that you'll need. For example, you might have a cell for the header, a cell for the navigation, a cell for the body and a cell for the footer. Try to make it so you can fit all the images from your design in these cells, if not then add more cells or modify the size and position.

On the other hand, when you slice up the page and load it make all the images backgrounds so you can put text over the top of the images.
