META Tag question...

For all of you search engine experts out there, I have some questions. I used a Meta Tag Analyzer tool found at the bottom of the page at the following link:

http://www.scrubtheweb.com/abs/meta-check.html

When I use this tool, it gives a "Warning: This Tag May Be Disqualified!" warning whenever it finds a keyword repeated more than 3 times in the META keyword tag. How serious do people take this? For example, if you have a real estate domain name for a certain area and you want the term "real estate" paired with mulitpled cities in the keywords section, which results in the words "real" and "estate" showing up in the keywords around 10-15 times, would this really cause problems with a search engine like Google?
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-discussion/76736-meta-tag-question.html

They also give the following recommendations for tag lengths:

Title Tag - No more than 60 characters.

META Description Tag - No more than 150 characters.

META Keywords Tag - No more than 874 characters.

Are those guidelines pretty accurate?

Any insight people can provide on this subject would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding the words can't appear more than 3 times in the keyword section rule, since that is the one I have the hardest time complying with. Do most people ignore that suggestion?

Thanks!

What I have been told in the past is to not repeat the same exact keyword more than one. For example.

Real, Estate, Real Estate, RealEstate, Local Real Estate - would be good.

You don't want to start repeating words.

Real, Estate, Real Estate, RealEstate, Real Estate, Local Real Estate - would be bad.

You could prolly do a google search for "meta tag guidelines" if you want to get into it deeper.

Ok, what if the following was found in the keywords section?

Woodinville Real Estate, Seattle Real Estate, Bellevue Real Estate, Kirkland Real Estate, Bothell Real Estate, Redmond Real Estate, Kenmore Real Estate, Snohomish Real Estate

Would that be considered good or bad? The term "real estate" is being repeated a lot, but it is being paired with a different city each time so would that make it ok? I just don't want to get punished for stuffing keywords.

I think that would be fine just because your seperating it by area. Like I said, you might wanna look into more rules about it. I just know that your not suppost to put exact duplicate keywords.
