rss help needed

I'm just beginning to learn web design and having a little trouble working out how to ad rss feeds to my site. I wish to include weather data from rssweather.com but dont know how to do this. I only wish to display some fields (wind speed, direction, temp and an icon). Any help would be appreciated

there are a number of ways to do this, if you use a CMS then most of them allow you to display the information within a block or module, alternatively there are a few scripts out there that will parse the data for you and display it on your page.

I have recently found one here http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed ( free ), however there are a few around on sites such as www.hotscripts.com , et al.

If you use dreamweaver a new 3rd party ext has been released recently, after a brief glance at the features it seemed to allow you to incorporate rss feeds into your design but I am unable to remember the site I noticed this on. Probably be listed on the macromedia webpage.

You will have to play around and see which one suits your site the best.
