How i can clean a domain....hosting directory


Hello folks,

I have a website www.smartgup.com which is not showing anythign at the moment.... because i have installed so many different types of softwares on it. but i want to clean the directory and i mean i want to install phpbb3 on it.. but there is a mess of folders in it when i open it through FTP. I just want to install phpbb3 and a CMS together. is it possible?


PLease help me how i can make it like a new born baby?

You should be able to delete files and folders from your FTP client. In mine, I just have to click on the folder and press the delete key.

Alternatively, if you have shell access to your server, you can use the recursive mode of `rm`.

This should go without saying, but make sure you aren't deleting anything you want to keep.
