![]() | thanks - keep in mind, I am targeting small businesses who have very little or no internet experience, so my design doesn't have to be complex, just professional and something an internet newbie would enjoy... more opinions welcome!

![]() | Design 1 is definately the better of the two, but i agree with what tony84 said about showing off your skills, and i think this is important regardless of whether your clients are web newbies or not. taking your first design as an example, i think you would just need to make the header more interesting and it will immediately take your site to the 'next level' as it were. |

![]() | thanks for the opinions... I have already updated site 1 but I haven't uploaded it. The new version features mouseover links and a more creative header...

![]() | I like design 1 a lot better. Here are my comments, but remember I am NOT a designer. My comments are based on eye appeal only. #1 looks more balanced and draws the eye to the center . I like the color scheme better #2 is pretty basic design, where the Tabs on #1 add class

![]() | your getting there, the header looks better, still lacking something tho (imo) i think you should keep the tabs from before with the bevel, and make them do a mouseover, to be honest, i'm just not getting a design company vibe from it. |

![]() | I am still working on it...you have to understand, the people I am targeting love this kind of stuff, I have designed for several family members and friends who can't get enough... I know its not top notch, but its reasonably priced website design for local businesses who want a simple, yet professional web presence

| Design 1 gets my vote I really like design 1. Design 2 is nice, but I really think design 1 just looks smoother and classier. It looks like a designer did it rather than just someone who plays around with creating sites. I really like the colors as well! |
