choosing forum cms. Can Vbulletin have this sort of user groups?

I need a forum like it:

1.public area. everybody can read, registered users can write

2. restricted area. only registered users can read/write

3.restricted area 1. Only a group of users (group1) can read/write

3. restricted area 2. Another group of users (group2) can read/write

4.restricted area 3. Another group of users (group3) can read/write
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-discussion/591585-choosing-forum-cms-can-vbulletin-have.html

5.restricted area 4. Only Mods can read/write

The same user can be part of each group, for example:

User Johnny88 is part of group2 and group3, James77 is part of group1 and group3.

The other restricted areas should be invisible to the other users.

And it should be easy to manage groups.

Vbulletin can do that? Smf or Phpbb too?

dalex is an unknown quantity at this point

We believe Vbulletin can accomplish these tasks, please note that we have not used Vbulletin for a while as more and more open source forums are becoming available such as the following just to name a few.

phpBB
vanilla forum
simple machines "smf"

Vbulletin is the premiere choice and can be an expensive application so, we suggest you register on Vbulletin forums to ask to ensure that what you are asking about is actually supported.
