Copy content is allowed?

I have a quick qeustion.

Is it allowed to copy the content from other site but adding a backlink to original post?

I have copied thew pictures and text but I have added a back link to original source and also added (takne from: blabla) text.

Is it allowed to do it lieke ths or still not?

And if the author asking to remove it is there a way to delay this? Like asking them to provide with proov that its realy their content and so on?

Search for "Copyright and infringement" and read about it and you will know whats allowed.
As an author and webmaster I personally would not hestitate to inform the webhoster of such a content thief to close his site if he is not willing to remove the stolen content to protect my own site.
Thereforet ask the author for permission before you copy his work.

No, it's NOT allowed. Unless either 1) there's a note on the site saying that it is or 2) the site owner gives you permission.

Back links are not a form of payment unless agreed upon by both parties.

Aside from the legal aspects, someone put in the time and effort to create that content - have a little respect !!!

I come to your shop and take whatever I want, but I do leave a small 'notice' saying i took it from you.

Would you be open to this scenario?

Stealing content is still stealing, attribution or no.

Another reason not to steal content is Googs dupe slap.

It really makes writers upset if after all their hard work, some thief come along and rips their content and both get slapped for the dupe.

This is lawsuit material.

yes as long as you are linking back to the original page you can copy the content. Because the original content is getting a backlink from you..That is very valuable..

Thats just wrong.

A short quote of two lines or a copy of a complete article is quite different.

To who??? A backlink from an MFA full of illegally copied content isn't worth diddley-squat to me.

As HappyDay pointed out, a SHORT quote is OK, but aside from that copying content from someone's website without permission is copyright infringement and will bring you nothing but trouble.

It is total case of stealing.
You can only do that if you have permission from the real author.
If author catches you up, he can file a DMCA report to your host.

Be safe, don't steal. At least rewrite

I would suggest you to change the content a bit..I mean change the original content 40% and post on your website. Then you dont need to answer anyone...

Google would choose the site with original content rather than a site with copied contents.

Just post your original content
get rid of copying content from other sites.
You can spin the article if you find it hard to make your own content.
There are Article spinning tool for that.
I am not good in making articles
and i am not comfortable with that
but i suggest that technique.
