What is the difference between errors and warnings while validating the html or css files through W3C?

It is necessary to validate the website?

validation is just worthless, as long as a website is cross-browser, validation doesnt matter

Error u cannot ignore,warning you can ignore

its depends upon u wheather to put validations or not

errors mean that it is not validated, while you can have a validated document that has warnings.
