How to make images out of words in Dreamweaver?

Hi,

I'm totally new to web design. Actually, I opened the Dreamweaver designer for the first time 5 days ago. So, be kind about my dumb question.

I've made a page layout in Dreamweaver. I used rare font (sylfaen) for certain names. Later, I realized that not all users may have it. I've checked other professional sites and found out that they simply save words in rare fonts as images. The question is:

How to save words created in Dreamweaver as images? What's the simpliest way to do it?

I tried to repeat the word parameters in Adobe Photoshop 6.0 but it turned out that some parameters are non-convertable (specifically, size).

Thank you.

well, dreamweaver cant and doesnt make images, however another macromedia product doesn, and that fireworks. you can get the 30 day trial from www.macromedia.com/fireworks, it is a bit hard to start with, but its not as hard as others like photoshop for instance, and fireworks was actually designed for use with web graphics and images.

other wise, do a search on google for "image editors" and see what else is out there.

Good luck!

Well, what I do is a screen capture. (AKA: Prt Sc/Sys RQ Button)...which copies the entire screen. Then you paste it in photoshop. Crop out the text you want...save...insert the image in dreamweaver...voila...
