You can get pretty good original logo from freelancers at around 100 bucks.

Considering most of the design industry frowns upon spec work, I would suggest finding a quality freelancer.

Depending on the expections, a logo can go for as little as $100 to as high as $xx,xxx or more.

I'd be willing to take on the project. Take a look at my portfolio at www.atrickdesign.com. Email me at p [@] atrickdesign.com and I will give you a quote.

Take care.

Save a Life
Here at the "For hire" forum, you can get it as low as $10, then it increases quality as price goes up

The only people who "frown" on design contests are the ones who can't charge $700 for 6 hours work anymore. You can obviously advertise your own services but don't put down other sites, people or services in an effort to make a sale yourself, as THAT is unethical.

http://www.rgdontario.com/bestPracti...rk/default.asp Is a good resource for this topic. I am not going to argue over a chat forum.

No one is asking you to argue, I'm just asking you to refrain from putting down other people in an effort to make a sale.

HeyGeek was not simply putting others down to self-promote. I agree with him whole-heartedly, and it was good advice.

People who charge $700 for 6 hours work are not starving because of a proliferation of spec work and $10 contests, trust me. Obviously, they target completely different markets.

I urge you to check out this site: http://www.no-spec.com/

Check out this article for how much a "logo" costs: http://www.identityworks.com/issues/issues7.htm

A logo mirrors a company so it's more costly..some may be hundreds or thousands $$$$ more, not just $10
