Open it in Firefox, it looks fine.
Open it in IE6/7 and EVERYTHING is centered.
I have tried many things to try and un-center it, but I was wondering if anyone can spot anything I haven't spotted.
I would be very grateful to whoever finds the error, as it has been driving me around the bend for a while.
I am not an IE user myself (firefox) but as the majority of people use a Microsoft OS thus the Microsoft browser, I know it is a good idea to make the site look good regardless of a browser.
A little trick I learned especially for IE from a book called "CSS Mastery" is to body { text-align: center;} and then create a wrapper div and then #wrapper { text-align: left;}. This should center your wrapper div and the content of it should be aligned to the left now.
I do agree but the majority of people still use that thing that killed web design. We know it as Internet Explorer, I know it ass "Pain in My !#$@()* A$$!!"
My opinion is that you want your site to view correctly in Firefox, IE as well as Safari and Opera. Every other browser as well but those four are used commonly. IE is still used a lot more than the other three and it also has the most bugs.
What I hate more about IE is the goddamn head developer of the bloody thing uses Firefox. I MEAN SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL?!
