Ok I start dabbling in website design just for the fun of it and was asked to do a website for a friend. I put it up on a server that offers free bannerless homepage, nothing special. But they now want the ability to sell the products they have listed on the site via shopping cart, merchant account etc.

They have paid for the services for the cart and merchant account, and want me to add it, but since I'm not much versed in this aspect of web design, I am throwing this out there in case someone wish to help me. Kindly email me at gtdonna@gmail.com if you are serious and think you can help me implement this feature in the website. I'll give you all details then.

I just need the shopping cart to be integrated into the site.

Hello,

Seems like you got your self in to deep. hehe..

With an ecommerce website you need a database, since you said you have the website on a free server i doubt the account has a database installed for use.

i'll see what I can do to help you out.

You would need SSL and I doubt any free web host would give you that. OSCommerce might be a safe bet if you are looking for a quick fix.
