I have been using domaining.com for a while now and i am starting to wonder how it works... is there a particular script for this? Or is it custom made? I have an idea... not a rival site. But the same concept.
Thanks everyone, the NP$ really weren't necessary, but thanks, it's nice to be appreciated
I actually started doing something similar to domaining.com, before I found out they'd already done it. and better. ( that's the story of all my web development projects )
I suspect that what domaining.com is doing is pulling down the rss feeds into a db using a cron job, and then sorting by date. my simple example is just live feeds, cached for 24 hrs, and ordered by blog, not most recent.
I was looking around for a domaining.com "clone". Thinking about doing a "domaining.com site" but in obviously not covering the domain industry. But don't know how or how to find a script or how much to pay for someone to develope. Came across this. Useful info. Good thread and bookmarked!
