Question table borders -help needed

i am building my first site using dreamweaver mx, i am having two problems: i cant seem to get rid of the border around the tables that i insert, although when i insert a fireworks html file it works fine.

2. how could i make my table/ image start at the absolute top and left of the browser/ frame without any margin.

Breast Cancer
backup the file
open the file in notepad
find <body
add topmargin="0" lefmargin="0" inside the tag

find the table tag <table

look on the tag for border="1" (the 1 may be different)
change it to a zero
if its not there add border="0" to the table

thanx alot.

i feel very stupid about the body margin thing although i could have sworn i tried that! (i used dreamweaver's page properties but i guess i should have checked the code)

with the tables, however, the border is set to "0" and i'm still getting a 1px border!

Probably a border or margin setting inside the actual start of the BODY tag right underneath your end head tag.
