![]() | How do you print a web page? Hi, I want to create a hard copy (printed paper) portfolio of some of the designs Ive created, but Im not sure how to print a web page. I think it can be done in PS. If the web site was created in 72 dpi RGB resolution, I'm assuming it wouldnt print well because its not a high resolution CMYK image, am I correct? Ive already created a CD portfolio, but is there a way to print (hard copy) a nice crisp clean image of a web page to show a client/ employer. Thank you |

![]() | Hi, I would just make screenshots of the site in the browser window and take that pic into microsoft word. Did it before and the quality was fine.

![]() ![]() ![]() | you should be able to do File-->Print but if that doesn't work, hit File-->Edit iwth Microsoft Word, if it doesn't say microsoft word, goto Tools-->Internet Options-->Programs and make sure microsoft word is selected for the HTML Editor. You might have to open a new browser (Ctrl+N) for the Options to activate. Once your into microsoft word just print it from there, but the first way should work |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Microsoft Word? ![]() Alright, to begin with- yes, for a print job CMYK is recommended. Sure RGB allows a lot more colors, but CMYK consists of the four basic colors that your printer uses in order to create every other color. Your printer may not be able to print some of the RGB colors used in the images on your website, and so the result may be terrible (doesn't have to be, but could be). Go ahead, take a screenshot of your website, paste it into Adobe Photoshop, and cut out the browser from your website to make it look neat. Save the image and insert it into Microsoft Word for a print. That's the only time Microsoft Word should be used, in my opinion. |
