![]() | Type "porn", in any search engine. Find one you like (get a good pop-up killer) Go to "file" "save as" It's like Magic - you got a template Change the colors, the photos, the text or at least the domain name...lol go to your local titty bar, tell the girls you're gonna make um stars, and suddenly your a businessman. Plagiarism and porn for fun and profit.

![]() | LOL, legal battle - LEGAL BATTLE - you're a funny guy, I like when you answer people. If you change the photos, the text and the colors, you're pretty much left with a table layout. - Like to see that suit. He stole my tables - see I got a 100 x 200 table just like that one and the porn picture I stole frrm a dirty mag, is the same size as that one he's using.....lol Maybe this will help you Mr. Webmaster/lawmaster; The "fair use factor" looks at the amount and substantiality of the copying in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole. The critical determination is whether the quality and value of the materials copied are reasonable in relation to the purpose of copying. This is not a pure ratio or an absolute quantity of words test since using a whole work may be fair use under some circumstances, while using a small fraction of a work may not qualify for fair use under other circumstances. The sanctioning of the unauthorized copying of entire works as fair use is an exception and not the rule. Therefore, anyone who uses all or substantially all of a work, particularly a literary work, is asking for trouble, and will probably be found to have exceeded the bounds of fair use. The quantity, as well as the quality and importance, of the copied material must be considered. One criterion that courts frequently evaluate is to make certain that the user of the copyrighted material has taken no more than was necessary to achieve the purpose for which the user copied the materials."

![]() | Oh No, I've hurt your feelings. Sorry. But then I'm semi-retired, and got time to play here. You seem to think that that "one" account is a lot of money. It's not really alot of money. Not one , Not one of you asked the most important question,"how many manhours per month?" net?. You guys just don't get it we took a lost the first 6 months. Then slowly gained on the profit lose margin. Each member of our team worked 20 hours a day for for months. I know you create one of your master pieces in 1/2 hour slap it up and move on to the next, and there is no cost to you. How much do you charge to develop custom data base work per hour. To integrate a companies system into it. The going rate in 65 - 75 an hour (25 - 30 non english speaking). How much do you charge to program custom consumer applications? How much do you charge to create custom live interactive video, voice, white paper transfer applications and host and support them. How much do you charge your customers to exceed their sales and leads goals? How much do you charge for 24 hour support? How much does a network tech charge per hour 55? How much does top placement in Google and yahoo cost on 150 keywords. I can tell you the client was paying $15,000.00 a month just for placement before got the account, for "a couple words". They now have free placement and total services. We not only save them $5,000.00 a month but we provide more services than they could hire per hour. How do you think we get accounts. We show facts and figures, we prove we can save the company money then we do it. Yes Mr. Website's it would be a rip off if our firm charged more than 3.00 an hour for what most of the webmasters on this little board do. If this kid wants to steal a layout - big deal. Look at all the so called designers pushing templates as their own work. Look at the fool who put up a video store using open source stuff claiming its his own. And even worst these so called developers are trying to sell crapola to the peeps. The Kids welcome to take any one of my sites and have fun. It's not the stuff you see that makes them work anyway.

![]() | Honestly, pinkfluffybunny, I don't understand why you think you're so much better than everyone else and always need to tear everyone down. This forum consists of professionals and amateurs and everyone is here to help each other, not tear them down. tim1, you're best off paying for something or creating something on your own. By all means, look at related sites to get inspiration but don't steal. You could run into legal issues down the road (not likely if you tear everything apart like pinkfluffybunny suggested, but you'd want to stay out of any sticky areas). I have had a class on copyright concerning the web. I was told that ALL content of a site (table set up and all) is copyrighted the minute the source file is saved to someone's hard drive. Of course there will be table layouts that are similar to each other all over the web, but one does have a right to every aspect of their page when they produce it. If for some reason you ran into legal trouble, the creation date of their saved copy and creation date of your saved copy could be the thing that would seal the case.

![]() | Crystal, When you get out of school and you get a job. When you have attorneys on retainer. Give me a call, we'll have lunch and let our attorneys hash it out. I know, I hurt your feelings because You asked for a critique on your site and it wasn't what you hoped for. But get used to it kid. |
