Slicing in photoshop


Ok i understand the part about slicing it up but how do you make the slices editable so you can type in them or add type btw i am using dreamweaver.

any help would be appreciated.

I may be wrong, but once you have the images sliced and saved as jpegs or gifs you can't edit the text you've already written. If you are wanting to type over them what you can do in Dreamweaver is make the slices background images in the table that they were saved in (if you saved as HTML and images), and use spacer images to make sure that the table height and width don't change. Then you can type over the images.

OR you can use CSS to help you. I'd do some research on that if you're not sure how to do CSS.

What you can do is slice the images and then set them as background graphics. Then you can add content above the background image.
