Dreamweaver 8 Problem

Hi

For some reason Dreamweaver 8 is not saving my FTP settings meaning that every time I open the software, I have to insert my username and password in order to connect to my server.

Anyone know anything about this?

Cheers

P.S. - Yes I have ticked the 'save' details box

Sounds like a corrupt file somewhere along the line, can't really help much more than that though sorry.

However, try exporting your list in the "Manage Sites" option and then closing the program and importing it. Even if it doesn't fix the problem it means you don't have to type it all over again.

Regards.

Wildlife Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS)
I had many corrupt files in Dreamweaver 8 and had to reinstall it. It's still pretty unstable after reinstall, still got some corrupt files.

I got problems with Dreamweaver's Ftp too.. so i'm using total commander now to upload my files.. works better than dreamweaver IMHO.

All the best,

I've used dreamweaver for the last 4 years, and I still hate the ftp option in the newest version.

Grab you a free copy of filezilla ftp and never look back.
