I need some info!

Hello,

I am wanting to learn more about web designing. I know very little about it and I have not worked with html.

Where do I need to start??? Are there any books that I can get that can help? I got " Creating Web Pages for dummies (the nine books in one addition)." It's a good book and gives me a lot of information; it's just that the author writes the book from different points of views and does not say the best way to go.

I am really interested in learning to make templates! Is that normally done with html. I just need to know what kind of stuff to learn so I can get the write books and read. They are a lil expensive to buy everyday...lol
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-discussion/19713-i-need-some-info.html

Thanks!

when I started out .. I learned HTML first and as I progressed I picked up more of the designing skills with photoshop.
I would suggest just going to a continuing education class and do all the levels beg - advanced. Should be under 300 bucks and it will teach you the basics to do everything on your own.
It will keep you dedicated to your learning time also.
Once you get the basics of HTML it is simply a playing around game to figure it out.

Start out by finding tutorials online. Then get a book when you know what you want to focus on.
