Hi Guys.

I had big plans for fatalgamers.net, I put up the forums on IPB licensed, skinned it etc, have a main site coded, but then I wanted more, i.e a cms that integrates with IPB, forums open up in cms, phpnuke style ya know, so i searched and searched but can't seem to find anything and now i've like lost the will to carry on with the site although I want to, i'm just stuck for ideas, content etc.

Anyone have and ideas on what to do now?
Any ideas on what to do for main site?
Ideas for content?
Where to get up to the minute gaming news, release dates etc?

It was also going to be a clan resource site offering.

Hosting free and paid
Templates free and paid
Gaming CMS free
Graphics
Scripts

Now I haven't seen many or any sites come to think of it like this, yet I can't seem to find anyone that wants to help..

So not only am I looking for answers to the above but also should I carry on or just forget it...

Any help appreciated, rep will be added for positive replies etc.....

How about you add a main page with cheats/etc. Many gaming websites have this sort of thing

I want to stay away from cheats as i hate them. anyone that cheats, I don't see the point playing, if you don't have the skills to play without then simply don't play..

I think the cheats was just an example but things like that, mods, maps etc..

good idea, but for the amount of games there are, it's going take some space, bandwidth, time and staff, and as you know staff don't want to work for free...but I like the idea...I need some sort of cms that I can use with IPB, many people say get Vbulletin but i'm not spending $85, i've spent enough allready..lol

So anyone willing to help, join me in this great project?

IPB has a built in portal. You might be interested in using that.

The only thing with the postals for the forums is, they look portaly..lol you know all square and bog standard like...I want something that will stand out.
