Anyone good with vBulletin?

Hey, this is my first post. Just found the site

I REALLY need some help......

I run www.FLSCC.com. As you can see, its just plain ugly. I got the site set up and never got around to doing much with it as far as looks go.

I want to do something similar to webdesigntalk forums. I want my forums centered, not spanning the width of the viewers browser window like it currently is.

what do I need to edit to get that changed. The header and stuff I can do from there, but I need some help on that first part.

Thanks in advance,

Justin

In your admin section go to styles --> Modify --> fonts/colors/etc and then scroll down a little and you'll see where you can set the width of your tables. Try changing the main table width to 758 or so to get about the same results as this forum.

A lot. I started with phpBB and within 2 months was ready for vBulletin. Much better IMO.

Another option for a forum in my opinion is Invision Power Board. It is somewhere between phpBB and vBulletin, but can still be used for free. I run several sites and have both forums up and running. vBulletin is easier in making it look like you want, but as far as controls and speed both are very close. Plus if you do need support you can purchase support from Invision Power Board and it will not cost you too much.

Really depends on your budget, but after using both I generally use Invision.

I think that vBulletin outruns them all, the amount of things you can do it on it are a lot.

But considering what phpBB and InvisionBB have to offer, they're okay, but probably not quite int he league of vBulletin.
