Software for Tracking Graphic Design Changes?

Greetings.

Can anyone recommend an application that can be used to easily track changes to an in-progress web site design (changes to Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator files, and then possibly to the HTML interface)? For example, say you change the treatment, heading label and location of a left navigation bar in your graphic design prototype in Adobe PS.... maybe in this tracking application would provide an easy way to track that change using built in features with common graphic design naming conventions. And, maybe the application sends an email to someone (the PM) every time a change is submitted so that they can keep up-to-date on how the design is progressing and diverging from original expectations (usually for the better, of course!).

Thanks for any recommendations,
Devon

good idea

sounds like the CVS system, good idea.

A lot of Open Source developers use a system called cvs tree to track changes made to OS code. CVS stands for Concurrent Versions System in case you were wondering.

Maybe you could use this but for graphical uses.
