Anyone familiar with using DVD Wizard Pro?

Hi!

I just downloaded a trial version of DVD Wizard Pro from Ulead. It was more out of curiosity I did this because, although I would love to convert some of my old VHS tapes to DVD format, I really haven't a clue where to begin next.

Imagine, I'm staring at my old VCR and then casting a puzzling eye over my PC. Like what do I do next? Do I need some extra firmware to get them hooked up? Or does anyone know a way around it with just hooking up certain specific cables? Any pointers at all? tia

Hmm,

Maybe we need some type of computer forum??

Anyways, In order to achieve this you will need a video card with a Video In port for a camcorder or VCR and the software necessary to capture the video. Found this here http://www.dvdwizardpro.com/faq.html

I found it!

Thank you guys. I only asked because I thought that this type of software was used in Webcasting and Video streaming, so I assumed that it was web-related. Anyway I found the perfect piece of equipment I was looking for here: http://electronics.shoppingsavvy.com...o-Capture.html

And not only is it less than $40, but there is a $20 rebate on the mailing!
