First you must master HTML and CSS before you should rely on programs. This is what i follow, and it is what my computer teacher teaches by... before he gives you frontpage and macromedia studios you must first master HTML and Notepad.

If I was designing the site, the first thing that I would go for with your Nirvana in Flash is a different font, the font you are using is very hard to read and gets blurred. You might want to check and see if your text is anti-ailased or not and this may be your problem. I like the look of the Flash site, but I noticed that your HTML site is kinda drab. You may want to implement some dHTML, javascript and CSS to perk up your site. If you would like to some ways of using CSS and dHTML you can check out my websites at the link below. These are just quick and basic sites, but there is alot of dHTML and CSS within all the HTML sites on my online portfolio. You can take my code and use it if you see any that you like, but please make a reference to myself and my online portfolio if you plan to use any of them. Drop me a line when you are finished workin on the site and let me know how things are going.
