What's your favirote Forum Software?

Hi Just wondering what everyones favirote forum software is?

Some of the choices might be phpBB, invision board, yaBB, ikon board, and many others.

I would have to say out all the ones that I've ever used vBulletin is my favirote!

ubb was the first one i used... Ofcorse it was pirated... and i liked it... it had very nice admin features.

But i'd have to say my favorite is phpBB just because they are easy to manage and free. But i hate how most people who use phpBB's don't change the look of them... they all use the default layout.

I use tFourm and I definately like the layout and features of phpBB and this vBulletin.

I use Invision Board, it's got great features and I find it really easy to use and customize.

vb has nice features but i think vb runs slower than phpbb

so im not to fond about it

id say phpbb but they need to sort the theming feature!

the theme managment of invision but the layout of and design of phpbb!

I like phpBB - in the middle of modding and theming one at the moment the test version is located at www.wndp.com/testforum if anybody wants a look - if you change the theme, don't panic - I am in the middle of it just now so half of it doesn't work but the default theme is all good.

Its extremely easy to install good hacks on it and the hacks that are installed on it are all detailed out in it.

phpBB, because I find its so easy to change things from PHP my Admin, unlike Invision which I am not at all formiliar with.

The first forum I used is YaBB(Yet another bulletin Board) apparently I used the CGI version too

After that, I used OpenBB, and after a while I moved onto phpBB, til I finally use vBulletin.

I only use it for small private board, but phpBB works well for me. Easy to install and modify, plus its free.

I just finished setting up a new Invision Board for a client and I must say I am VERY impressed with the software. It has many features that even vBulletin doesn't offer. The templates were very easy to customize.

Rapid Prototyping - It's running IPB v1.3. Took about an hour to install, setup a new skin and customize the forums.

vBulletin is still my old favorite, but IPB is a very worthy alternative.
