Hello, i need to be able to make vector images for my company (clothing) but corel draw does not want to run on my computer so i need something else.

Is there a program that can convert images to .cdr?

.cdr is Corel's compression file type. I know other programs can read it but I doubt they can save as. I'll check my Fireworks hold on....

....Nope, will read/open them (.cdr), but saves vector graphics as .png sorry Maybe you can convert. *shrug*

What format type is .cdr? is that a corel draw format?

I doubt there is, might be, but doubt it apart from corel draw its self.

.ai and .fh and .psd, ect are all the file formats of the programs itself. Other similar programs can read these files, but they cannot save as those file formats because it does not belong to them.

To save a .ai file, you need illustrator. To save a .fh file, you need freehand, and so on.

Halbarad: You can consider getting another software that works well on your PC. You can perhaps choose the one that can open your existing files like FreeHand (as Jimmy said freehand can open the filetype).
