Pushing for an Appraisal?

I have a website that someone is interested in.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/warnings-and-alerts/609282-pushing-for-an-appraisal.html
They are requesting a domain appraisal for me to send them. And by all means, I don't mind running a report for them.

The service I plan to choose is DomainAppraisal.org | Domain Name Appraisals, Resources & Tools. I know he is a member here too, and he gives pretty detailed and accurate domain name appraisals.
However, the seller I am dealing with via e-mail is pushing to use Domain Services. However, I do not wish to dish out $60 for a domain appraisal when I can get a decent report for $10.

What shall I do? Am I wrong? I do not want to be rude and lose a sale. Can someone give me some guidance?

Thank you!

it's a scam. whole point of the letter is to get you to spend money on the appraisal. google the name of the company or individual who wrote to you and chances are you'll find posts about these same folks scamming people.

don't even waste time considering letters that insist that you get an appraisal, and definitely don't consider letters that push a particular company. they prey on the unwitting.

Tell them if they want an appraisal to go get one. Simple .....
they pay for an appraisal and they then have one.

This sounds like a scam to get you to use one of the appraisal
services "they trust".

Suggest to them that they go and get an appraisal from one of
those services, they trust, and then get back to you.

Well I told them that if they would prefer, that they would do the appraisal on their end from the "people" who they were comfortable with.
The guy shot back at me and said it was my responsibility.
