![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good god exponent, I didn't have a clue. But if you were letting domains like screw.com and hardware.com go, I just wonder what you really had in the portfolio. I don't think I'd be as nice as you have been, but then I wouldn't trust anyone with my domain portfolio either. I really hope you get your domains back, if there's ever any help you require, let me know. |

Thanks for sharing your story with us -- I'm sure it will help others out there think twice about putting too much trust in people they don't really know. Best of luck getting back what's rightfully yours. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | exponent - I can't think of any words to say in order to make you feel better. I can't even imagine how you must feel. My only advice to you, is that you should chase this guy in a more drastic manner - if you haven't already. In my opinion, the only way to deal with this case properly is for you to fly over to "Alex's" country. Faxing over documents will take time and it is very likely that half of them will be lost in the process. Gather all your proof, try to pinpoint Alex's exact location, fly over there, and file a lawsuit in his local courthouse. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=584610 You have to consider the possibility that he wasn't planning this thing all along. A person on a work visa in a foreign country (aka looking for a better future), new to this internet extravaganza, who just got blinded by all the money coming in and thought that he could just get away with it - especially since you are not even in the same country. That same person, however, when facing a lawsuit in his home country, is bound to get shaken up. I would say there is a good chance he'll try to offer you your domains back for you to drop that lawsuit. That's my 2 cents |

Why is it you have been able to get back some of the names, but not all of them? That is really to bad that someone like "Alex" couldn't have been legit in the end. Money works wonders on the mind in good ways and bad. |
