![]() ![]() ![]() | Desktop screen has been taken over - virus? Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this - I was on some site that brought up two pop-unders- I think that's what they were anyway, were underneath the site I tried to go to... anyway, after I shut down my browser, my desktop picture has been replaced by a lovely (being sarcastic here) black and silver screen with a 'mature content' logo in it! I'm assuming this is a virus? My anti-virus doesn't seem to be picking anything up (I'm running it a second time now). What do I do about this? |

![]() | Yes, I do believe this is in the wrong forum, but.. What anti-virus are you currently using? I personally suggest you download the three following programs: Avira AntiVir, Ad-Aware, and Spybot Search & Destroy. Scan your computer with all of them and I can pretty much guarantee anything is going to be deleted. I use these programs all the time and they work great. If that doesn't find it, then get HijackThis and post the log it gives you at the end of the scan here. |
