![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I received an eBay scam email similar to this one a few days ago that said my account has been suspended due to a suspicion that I'm faking my identify and went on to say that I must confirm my details within 72 hours or my account would be closed. These eBay scams are pretty common nowdays, it's a shame that the scammers have nothing better to do then try to scam innocent victims. ![]() ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=57989 The phishing sites are pretty common as well with the fake sites of large companies to deceive victims into believing it's really the real site. I've came across several fake sites in the past. ![]() The email I received was sent to one of my email addresses I don't even have listed on my eBay account so I knew right off the bat it was a scam as soon as I saw the subject.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think I got that same e-mail like a dozen times last week. This week, I'm getting ones spoofing well-known banks that say I must recheck my checking account.

![]() ![]() ![]() | eMail phishing is as common today as the toilet flush. Strict rule of thumb today - never respond to, and act on, any email that requires you to enter your username and password from a source YOU have not directly contacted in the past 48 hrs.
