![]() | almost got my paypal account stolen Today i got this e-mail from what looks like paypal's client service, it says that my account was accessed by a third party and that i need to confirm my ownership to this account luckily i have an anti phishing software installed on my computer which alerted about the link that i clicked on which takes you to paypal.com-o.us u can see the .us extension. so if you get an e_mail from service@-paypal.com with the subject "Notification of Paypal Limited Account Access" don't fall for it coz it has been reported as a web forgery. this is a copy of the e-mail i got.

I never open emails from PayPal that i don't expect, only PayPal email i open is the occasional payment receipt, etc. But i know that's arriving.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My policy is never do anything on the emergency basis ![]() Paypal always gives you 10 days or so limit for an answer. In hurry you could mess up a bit. So first thing is to close the stuff. Forget it if it was not like Dear "Name" << For personal accounts Dear "Business Name" << For business accounts

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I got an email the other day that basically was a copy of the email paypal set notifying me of there new changes. It didnt ask to login, just provided a link to a page that I assume looked like the paypal page. I receive so many phishing emails these days its a joke. I seem to get about an average of one per hour, So around 24 a day.

I still wouldn't click any of the links, I always log in to the account the email is from and check it that way. That's how I've always done it, sometimes it's hard to tell if it's real or not, so I just don't take the chance. One click is all it takes! | ||||
