Hi, If anyone sees this domain for sale/trade or anything like that anywhere....Please contact me as it was Scammed from me......Not here but at DP. He will pay as I am taking action and NOT letting this go!!!!!!!!!!!!
Weblord, yes I got scammed elsewhere, but I think it prudent to inform as many people as possible so they do not have to go through the same thing I have with this person/people....You know, common courtesy and all....
Thought I should edit this in also.....
If he reads and scams at "another forum", the chances are that he knows about this forum and at one time or another will try his BS here. Mayby not under the same name, but at least he knows that there are INFORMED people looking out for him and his stolen domains.
Hi Hurley, I think buying it at BIN was something I should have thought more about as the BIN I set was about $80 more than it was worth...I just wanted people to get the offers up...Oh well, hindsight is 20/20 As for the Paypal thing, I do not think there is anyway to tell if it has been hacked. What made me suspisious was only about 10 minutes AFTER I pushed the domain. I then thought about the email that I transfered it to...The guy I thought I was selling to was named Troy, but the Godaddy email was mikes113...I sat there thinking "why would his email have the name Mike in it if his name is Troy?" If I had just one more hamster running around in my head that night I would have caught it befor I pushed it. But when I got the Paypal conformation and saw that the money was there from Troy, my brain relaxed. As bad as this is, at least I caught it within minutes of it happening, rather than getting a letter from Paypal a week or two from now. Gives me a slight advantage.
That gives me hope!!! I do beleive that if a person activly pursues it, they will win in the end. I mean, I know exactly where the domain is ( Godaddy ) and there is clear proof of fraud ( Paypal ) It is just getting the right authorites to take enough intrest in it to make things happen. Some people may say "it is only a $335 domain" but how MANY $335 domains has this person defrauded off of people? The amounts add up quickly and it then becoms a more serious Felony Fraud case. As much as I think I will eventually get my domain back, I hope more that the person who did this is from the US or Canada....Makes it soooo easy to prosecute them.
As an added note...if the scammer is reading this...You picked the wrong person to screw with....I WILL get my domain back and I will do my best to expose you publicly and do everything I can to see you have your day in court!!!! As I said in one thread or another, I Am Not Letting This Go.
True, but there are other things that I am doing that I am not posting about ....Contacting Godaddy and Paypal is only one of them....This is only the beginning...
The #1 reason these scammers go for domains at Godaddy is that they know once the domain is pushed to their account Godaddy will do absolutely nothing to get it back for you. They don't give two S@&t's about you being scammed....You're on your own!
I really hope you get the domain back....Good luck.

Unless Godaddy have drastically changed their policies recently they will do virtually nothing for you except send you an email telling you exactly that.......they will do nothing for you!!
Here are some threads from earlier this year when dozens of domains were scammed from members. All the domains were at Godaddy and they helped us with absolutely nothing!
I have written a letter to sedo about this and have added this info for anyone who might buy it. If my offline attempts to get this domain back are successful, anyone who owns it will have it taken away from them. So please beware of buying this ( or any ) domain...Look into it's history. I would hate to see any domain taken away from an honest person. Cheers, Mark
It is a bit of a slow process, but I am taking this through some off-line measures. I am almost certain that I will get the domain back, but it will take awhile. As for what I am doing, I really do not want to say right now.
"Wow he listed it for sale!!"
Pretty ballsy to do this so soon, but I think that even he knows that if he doesn't get rid of it right away, it will be taken away from him.
I am curious about something here. Whenever I do ownership changes at GoDaddy, I get this message in an EMail:
If for any reason this information is incorrect or you feel this change of registrant request was made in error, please contact us within 15 days at mailto:undo@godaddy.com.
Since you caught the fraudulent transaction within the 15 day time period, couldn't you have just told GoDaddy that you transferred the domain in error?
nuff said. and their undo services is not working also, i've tried it before, submitted identification data to them, etc. i think it's better for godaddy not to mention the email: undo .
Hi Weblord, you never sleep. So you mean that 15 day period for corrections is a fake? You've experienced this first hand? You've made an error with a domain transfer/account change, asked GoDaddy to correct it, were refused by GoDaddy and you lost the domain name? Is that what you mean? As for PayPal, I have never won a case with a dispute over money. I stopped using Ebay 99% of the time because PayPal always protects the scammer and I am always the one being scammed.
