Anyone get paid from this bidder at the recent NP auction?

If so please post here, if not also please post.

I would like my 200NP back if possible.

He has been non-responsive, but I will try again.

If he does not materialize, anyone who had an auction won by him will receive a list fee refund and information about who the second highest bidder was.

I think it's our unfriendly neighborhood wannabe hacker punk. The auction before he/she screwed up the live auction. I noticed he had placed bids on most names in the prebidding process and tried to search his nick out but couldn't find anything on him.

Im glad i didn't join that site then, what is the point in bidding and not paying? honestly i just dont get it with people like this, I know what it feels like too.

I even sent him a pm in the hope it might coax him into a response, but nadda. worth a try though

I got an email reply back from Jon, apologizing and saying he wanted to make good on it. Apparently he's not been back on NamePros since bidding.

So will he be paying for the names he won or what? How do we know this isn't a hacked email / NP account / Paypal and we are all in for another big scam? I don't know if I want to accept payment from him after this, if he wants to make good he can pay me via Moniker Escrow and take the fee's.

I am sure much of the others will agree.

I'm here now... RJ got in touch with me and I appreciate it too, as I probably wouldn't have figured it out until I came back here. I just figured I didn't win any of the auctions (since it was pre-bid mode) otherwise I would have seen an email.

I will make good on all of the auctions I won and need to pay for. This was seriously a really silly mistake. I'm PM'ing all of the people who's auctions I won in with information on how to work it out.

Thanks again to RJ for reaching out to me. I REALLY appreciate that.

Just to vouch for Navyseals here - he is a stand up guy and a reputable business person. He's also been a long-time customer of mine and an all around nice guy. I'm sure that it was an oversight with how things worked with the auction.

I'm surprised people were so fast to neg him for prebids. 5 days with it being not only a weekend, but a holiday weekend for many.

Per auction rules you are to pay within 24 hours of auction end... so I am not sure why you think what we did was wrong... It was a week with no response from him, I think we acted accordingly.

I don't blame anyone for giving me neg feedback. Like I said, it was all just a misunderstanding, and even so, I'm back and will pay all of the sellers for the auctions I won. Even managed to pick up a LLL.com from one of them who was nice enough to offer it. Score!

Well i'm glad he's being honest and coming on to brave any dozens of pm's he must have by now, not many people would bother, so kudos for doing that.

But we will wait and see if he comes good like he says.

As for people leaving the negative TR imo they are perfectly entitled to do so if their lots were not paid for within the 24 hours, most people I know gave plenty of time before leaving the negative TR.
