Question Other sites using your domain name in SE results

While searching my company names on the search engines
other websites come up that have my domain name & my category titles in their results.
When I go to their website, none of my information is anywhere to be found.
It is only in their search results.
They have obviously placed it in their information for the search engines to find.
What could one do to put a stop to this aside of contacting the offending website.
Are there security measures that could be taken to stop this from happening again.

Many thanks for your input.

I have found the same issue with my website. I do a search for my website, www.strollersforyou.com and I have found two sites where my website name and summary were in the sites description, but when I click on those sites they are parked sites and has nothing on the page regarding my site. Here is what is looks like:
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/warnings-and-alerts/452449-other-sites-using-your-domain-name.html

wheel travel system stroller
baby stroller guide and safety tips buying baby stroller, lightweight stroller, umbrella stroller, travel system, prams, push chairs... strollersforyou.com ...

sef.iraqhistory.ceciliachampney.com/wheel_travel_system_st... - Similar pages

How do you prevent this from happening?

If the things are exact and you think they are copied from your site. Then report them.

Reporting Depends on where the site is. If it is a site then report to the hosting provider.

If the above is not the case then it is just a matter of SEO. Defeat them in the rankings and take your place which belongs to you.
