![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You must log in to your paypal account first and click contact us at the bottom > than > Help By Email > Disputes > Credit Card Chargeback Status or Respond Status of Buyer Dispute or claim. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=435179 Once there enter the following; Subject: "Domain Name sellers left helpless with Chargebacks, Please change your Policy!" ![]() ![]() | Hi, I had already contacted PayPal and am doing it again. They are a cesspool of scam artists, and they, like Ebay, support the practice because it makes so much money for them. I opened up a new account with them, using their own credit card, and if I am ever scammed again, I am going to refuse to pay it. The problem with the last scam, was that I allowed them to pull it out of my bank account. No more. Rich |

Submitted. I don't think it's a waste of time, heck it only took like 30 seconds. I choose "Seller Protection" rather "Respond Status of Buyer Dispute or Claim", I thought it was more relevant since I have no current disputes.

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=435179 No, I`d love PayPal to change but it seems THEY DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE. I personally complained about these problems several times on the phone with them last August and nothing has changed.

that sounds great, but only one problem. PayPal Buyer Credit and PayPal are seperate entitys entirely. When you get paid, the $$$ is deposited into your PayPal account. Not to your PayPal Buyer Credit. Unfortunately they got us by the nads! So, upon payment into your account, you'd have to spend it immediately with a PayPal debit card. Because if you just transferred it to your actual bank account, that takes almost a week....and by that time, the scammer has probably already hit his credit card co. for the chargeback/withdrawal. I still have faith! Domains are getting more and more popular, everyday. Go to E-bay, they have anywhere between 2000-5000 domains listed all the time, now. Unfortunately, PayPal is the preferred method. I think with more campaigns like this, they will get their head out of their A$$ and make a change! Great Thread! I will submit my letter to PayPal today. Good Luck, to us all. Thx, Red Rock!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just want to be clear. I don't want PayPal to go away, I just want more protection. What's really bad is if you get paid. You transfer the money to your bank account, which takes 3-4 days. While you are waiting for the transfer the scammer reverses the funds, PayPal takes them directly out of your bank account, no 3-4 day wait. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=435179 Now because your initial deposit transfer was not in your bank yet, PayPal took funds that were not there causing your bank account to go negative. What little money was in my account was already to be used for my other bills that are automatically paid from my account. The money for those bills wasn't there anymore, insufficient fees start building up at $45 a pop and before I knew it my checking account was $350 negative.. I had that happen once.. It sucked soo back.. I Finally got PayPal to work with my bank and reverse all the fees but it took about 2 months. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I am really surprised that there are not more NP members flocking to be on board. Considering that in the selling "Rules", it is stated that PayPal is the "preferred payment method", you'd think more people would be concerned. I have personally never been scammed, but having been on eBay since 1999, (where PayPal is ALMOST compulsory, I read of these scams DAILY). I am not waiting to be stung before taking some action. -and Yes, I agree...THIS IS NOT A WASTE OF TIME ...A petition has far greater impact than random complaint phone-calls. Even if you see no immediate changes, ENOUGH voices can help lay the groundwork. Just like when people are trying to get a message across to their leaders in government. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=435179 I am on board with this idea. Weblord (post#2): Did you put together the petition? .
