How to get your domains out of RegisterFly.com

By now most everyone knows how awful RegisterFly's support is. If you have domains at RegisterFly and are having trouble transferring them to another registrar, here's what I did.

I had two domains with them, one of which had Whois privacy. I tried and tried to disable the privacy so I could transfer the domain, to no avail. I submitted a support ticket to have them disable the privacy and provide me with an auth. code. As you can imagine, the response to the support ticket was so lame that they may as well have just ignored me.

I ended up setting up a brand new account at RegisterFly, then pushing the domains to the new account. When I did this, the Whois privacy did not transfer to the new account. I was then able to access the auth codes and initiate a transfer to a new registrar.

Just a little trick for anyone who may be having similar trouble!
