Scammer alert!!

Well, I needed someone to code a template of mine and went through my PMs to find someone who sent me a PM last time I needed a template coded.

We talked about the details and came up with $30 to code it. He wanted $15 upfront, but I told him I could do $5, he agreed and I paid him. He said it was going to be done within 2 hours, I IMed him at 2 hours and asked how it was and to see a preview, he said to hold on. 45 Minutes later, I once again IMed him and he said he was uploading it... 3 minutes later, he said he would brb in 10 minutes and signed off... Over 2 hours later he wasn't on, but I went on another name and he was on.

Thankfully he didn't get much out of me, but he is still a SCAMMER.

His 5$ was Refunded Within 5 Mins after i got Offline.. This guy is Just trying to Make U Fool..... And No One Scam Ppls For 5$. I have a great Portfolio, That Proves that im not scammer, if i m a scammer then how i had a gr8 portfolio. If u feel doubt in my portfolio. u can contact all companies which are listed there that who created there website.... OPEN CHALLENGE

What a deusche bag. Learn proper spelling and sentence structure if you're looking to do business. The fact that you blocked the user 2 hours later after you receive a $5 payment is initially a fraudulent tactic. You had no reason to block him and try to keep his money.

You told me you refunded my money and that it would show up within 2 days, guess what? IT'S AUTOMATIC! And not only that, but it's been a week and still have not been refunded.

$5 isn't a lot, but if you go and scam 10 people for $5... Thats $50 for doing nothing.

Please explain how a portfoilo means your not a scammer? Anyone could create a portfolio of ripped websites or even make your own websites and put them in there. Having a portfolio doesn't mean your not a scammer.

but anyway... it cost $5 to confirm to all namepros members + other sources that umerinc is a dirty little scammer...
anyone that would take $5 off someone and disgrace their own company is a total dumbass...

Agreed! Many people here are multilingual, and while their sentence structure and grammar in a 2nd, or even 3rd, language may not be great, they can still be understood.

Hi Guys, I was recently scammed by Umer Inc and searched namepros to find something about him. He was supposed to do some programming for me and asked for $200. I paid him $120 upfront. After sending the advance I sent him mails after mails since August till last week. Once I got a reply last month that there were some riots in Pakistan so he couldnt work. I gave him 1 more month and guess what, I cannot get a hold of him. Damn I wish I read this forum before. I lost $120

Is there a way to catch hold of this guy?

Also forgot to add...guess what his yahoo email id means? Maine Tumse Pyaar = I love you. Is this his business contact info....so unprofessional !!

I think your loss is loosely related to the average age of the NP community.

As a hard and fast rule for doing business here (really any online freelance site) is get the work done upfront, validate it, then pay. I've had this tested here several times.

I am quite insensed when people scam others, no matter for what amount of money. Who is to say that umerinc has not signed up on other forums and done the same thing. Then again, who is to say that he has not rejoined NamePros under a different alias with the sole purpose of perpetrating his heinous crimes again.

so in away his id does not make any sense as it is incomplete.

I got scammed back in April from a Indian guy i even filed report in Police even went thought the trouble of find out his real address and phone number but still didnt get my money back.
