I always receive atleast one or sometimes a couple of the eBay spoofs daily and they always come to my email addresses that I don't even have associated with my eBay account.

I've got Spam Arrest that I use so those emails never make it to my inbox though, but I can see them in the "unverified mail" area.

This email I haven't received yet, but I'm sure it's a matter of time.

Yeah, this one time I got one and it said my real name I was so confused but I thought my account was actually cancelled until they asked for my SSN #. Anyways the URL said http://www.ebay.com but it was actually some other site. I don't know how they did it but they were good and I reported them to eBay for being so good.

Watch out for this always right click and make sure.

No, no I'm talking about when I actually went to the page the "http://www.ebay.com" was in the address bar. That doesn't happen when you click a text link like that.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=142072

http://www.ebay.com

If you click on it, the browser bar does say "http://www.kjmz.com" in the new window.

Not always, there is a black Hole in IE(not Mozilla) when hackers may a link for example ebay.com and you click it and you still see ebay.com at the IE bar!
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=142072
So take care!

It is in Beta and not available to the general public.

As for Ebay and Pay Pal (owned by Ebay) phishing emails, I get one or more every day on email accounts that I have never used for transactions. Best bet is to manually type in the URL.

I posted here how they do that;

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=142072
http://www.namepros.com/showpost.php...61&postcount=4

it is a mapped image, that's why it looks so real and probably attached to the hacking script because the alert of possible fraud points precisely to the IP where the emailed scam comes from.
