UrbanHostOnline?

I have been with this site for 2 months getting a hosting plan. The prices were right. Now their site is completely down with no email notices and all my customers are extremely mad. I am wondering if they are legit and will be back up. I found out about them through here...

Can anyone shed light on this?

Says it's confirmed to be down, seems they are on NoZone, Inc. datacenter (never heard of them before)

I need help because I have companies that haven't backed up info. EVERYTHING will be lost if I can't get my stuff. I swear to god these buttheads took my money gave me 2 months and walked. I am so mad right now. I have customers that are bitching. What should I do?

Ive had hosting with urbanhostonline since May and had no problems yet. I just ordered another server yesterday and wating for the email it the info.

Considering it's a one-man show, I'm not surprised; many 'hosts' are listed as such on the webhosting offers section, and it's up to potential buyers to watch out for them or choose them at their own risk. Cheap pricing as been mentioned several times is inversely related to good companies most of the time (and there's a reasonable range as well)

There back up now, everyone has a bit of downtime.
Just don't go calling them "buttheads" or they might pull your account.

It was downtime. They never notified me though...still haven't. What kind of host makes you contact them to find out what happened?

Granted they should have contacted you as soon as they were aware of the problem themselves, but try and be patient a little bit. Just tell your customers that the issue is being worked on by your tech department and that you will keep them updated on the situation and the possible return of their service.

You might also ask your host for a credit equal to the downtime. Not saying they will do this, but it would help you to credit your customers with some time also.

Just wondering, is anyone here hosted with them? My websites went down about a week ago. Their website is down, sent a PM with no reply, my e-mail couldn't be delivered. I need to at least access my database to transfer my files. Anyone know whats up?

Well I remarked above it's a one-man show, so I guess the best would be to try and call his home or something, hopefully listed in WHOIS output....

Whois is protected. Funny thing is since than I went to PolurNet. Yep. I got eveything up except one of my sites which i kinda need the database for. But I've been with this host for a few months with no problems. Actually the member here was really nice.
