Well - I don't think it is really funny .... She wasted Untold Man Hours (Police and Volunteers) and put her fiance in the "Hot Seat" just because she is a Gutless piece of crap !
If she doesn't serve time over this - I'll develop a website about her !!!!! and remind folks every chance I get !!!

Sorry to seem so blunt ... But this kind of thing eats me up inside .... Those police officers could have been looking for a "Real" kidnapped person - Or solving a "Real" murder .... Even at the very least they could have nabbed a few Crack Dealers ~ Just because she got a case of the nervous jitters is NO reason to put her Family, fiance, police, and the entire country through this ! Not to mention the cost involved as well - Her family had already raised a decent sized reward .... Oooooh ~
How many of you already suspected the fiance ? huh ? - I admit the thought crossed my mind - We've all seen it too many times not to ......

The amount of media coverage that this case is getting after she is found safe is ridiculous I think. There's 100s of children that are out there really missing and that go missing everyday. Those children and people that are really missing should be on the media instead trying to find them. It's over with and done, why use all of the media on a grown fool that should be fined heavily for what she did. She's an adult, she knew what she was doing and what kind of hell it would cause for both families, friends, and everyone involved.
There were hundreds of individuals that put their lives on hold to go out and search for her in an area she wasn't even close to being in. The law enforcement officers were hogged up on 1 case from surrounding counties which takes away from real missing person cases, murders, drug cases, store thefts, etc... that should be handled instead of out searching for a woman that was across the country.
Lying to the police alone should be some kind of a charge. If she lies and gets away with it then everyone else will lie to the police and think they can get away with it and will just keep going. Soon there will be more cases like this then if they don't face any consequences or fines for their actions. She's an adult, she knew very well what it would do.

At the least this lady needs to be fined, like mentioned up above there are hundreds if not thousands of missing children. Georgia seems to be in the news every week it's starting to look like the people in GA are not that bright....Either way glad she is not another victim of some rapist killer.

I agree,We had a case here where a woman locked herself in her basement and said she had been kidnapped and was speaking with authorities via cell phone from her basement the whole time.LOL,,,,They searched the house,But not the basement,lol,She was simply very emotionally disturbed from a recent breakup with her fiance.But i beleive we will always have our freedom to come and go as we please.That's are freedom of choice unless hilary were to be elected in 2008! HA HA HA HA ..I don't think so

I hope that they would at least give her some "Community Service" to assist with the bills accumulated by local and federal authorities .... Not that I don't still think some time in the slammer is appropriate for her - False statements to the law in this manner should not be forgiven so easily. Granted there may be some other "problems" in her life that I / We don't know of .... But still .............

ya, prolly some types of issues... but putting myself in her shoes, it was prolly a panic situation:
"holy crap! im all over cnn, nbc and fox! the World is looking for me! al I did was get away for a few days to think things over and now this..what can I do to show him i still love him, but make all this go away?!?!?" or something to that effect.
she really didnt do any wrong. all resources were spent by searching for someone who didnt want to be found, which is legal.. they spent less than an hour talking to her and found she wasn't kidnapped. so ok, make her pay the pigs hourly wages (what? so she's out 75 bucks lol) I really don't see a need to ostricize her anymore.
marriage is.. or can be..panic invoking. I think everyone, on tha wedding day has that "fight or flight" systematic response. Should I get married, or run and hide in some small town in Arizona?!?!? lol..
but ya, I can see both ends here... I feel bad for both ends. needless to say, the wedding is prolly off. Would you want to marry someone now with such a stigma attached to her?
Yea i think all that media attention was punishment enough for her,She will be noticed everywhere she goes as for what happened,That would be enough punishment for anyone i would think.
