PHP BB Question

Hey guys!

I wanted to ask you a question.

My friend has a php bb forum with his current hosting. And he's thinking of changing hosts. So is there a way to move all the information (i.e: member info, previous posts, etc.) to a new host. Is there a way to "save" these things?

If yes, how

?

You just have to backup first (old host) and then restore (new host) the forum database. It's in the forum management-database (something like that) if I remember well...

You could always go into phpmyadmin if you have it and just export the database and download the forum

phpBB backups using the included utility almost always fail. Do a Google search on it and you'll see
