Two things that surprise me was how high on the list monkey was LOL and the people that figured its ok to use password as a password as long as they use a zero instead of the letter "o"

People are just lazy sometimes to think for their password or to memorize it.

Easy and lazy way that I use to make all of my passwords strong and unguessable is to use password generator addons such as lastpass or roboform.

Like many on the list it's not the user of the account's fault - these are most often the default passwords signed by the staff during reset without having the "force new password" option set.

My current password for my email has two punctuation, two numbers and 4 characters of which two are Upper Case. Guess away - worst case you will find an amusing stories and some legal discussion that is not that private.

I think I have seen that before. Boy I was using one or two of the passwords listed, I know that making passwords should not be taken for granted. Maybe that is the reason why hackers keep on logging in my accounts.
